Compliance with Section 4(1)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005

(ii) the powers and duties of its officers and employees;  The powers of the Company officials are well defined at all levels in the organisation. The duties are assigned from time-to-time.
(iii) the procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability;

Enviro – Quality Policy
BRBNMPL is committed to design, print and supply banknotes conforming to customer requirements by continuous improvement through dedicated people in a transparent, secure and confidential environment and meet the environmental needs of the area and society by complying to the relevant legal and other regulations, using eco-friendly materials, conservation of natural resources and management of waste materials.
Quality Objectives
To orient Company’s operations to achieve customer satisfaction.
To harness the state-of-the-art technology optimally.
To develop and maintain skilled and motivated human resources.
To achieve higher levels of productivity.
To safeguard the environmental needs of the area and society.
To minimize wastage and to facilitate recycling of the waste.
To maintain the Enviro-Quality Management systems of the ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 and to move towards the Total Quality Management.
(v) the rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions;
The Company has formulated the rules for conduct of its business. Major guiding documents are listed below.
1) Articles of Association & Memorandum of Association.
2) Administration Manual.
3) Purchase Manual.
4) ISO Manuals.
5) BRBNML Service Rules.
6) Certified Standing Orders.
(vi) a statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control;
The Company holds the Commercial & Technical Documents regarding its business operations and data relating to its employees.
(vii) the particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof;
The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India. The Company is solely engaged in printing of Indian banknotes as per the design approved by RBI and in such quantities of each denomination as indented by RBI. Therefore, there is no arrangement existing in the Company for consultation or representation by public either in the design or quantity of banknotes printed.
(viii) a statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public;
The Company has constituted certain Committees to oversee the operations and to provide directions / guidelines. The meetings of the Board of Directors and meetings of the Commitees are neither open to public nor the minutes are accessible to the public.
(ix) a directory of its officers and employees;

(x) the monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees, including the system of compensation as provided in its regulations;
The pay scales of the Company employees have been derived based on the recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission as accepted and implemented by the Government of India.
(xi) the budget allocated to each of its agency, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made;
The Company prepares Capital Budget for investment decisions which are cleared by the Board. The projects / items figuring in the approved budget allocation will be allowed to be committed during a given year. The performance against the same is monitored.
The Budget is also prepared for each of the Presses of the Company. Sanctions are accorded for the projects / items with specific allocation for commitment and expenditure during a given year. The projections are made in advance prior to the commencement of the year.
(xii) the manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes;

(xiii) particulars of recipients of concessions, permits or authorisations granted by it;
Not Applicable.
(xiv) details in respect of the information, available to or held by it, reduced in an electronic form;
Many of the information is maintained by the Company in electronic form.
(xv) the particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use;
The Company does not maintain facilities such as library or reading room for public use.
(xvi) the names, designations and other particulars of the Public Information Officers;
